CSR Projects
Through our CSR arm Sarfarosh Foundation, in conjunction with Matri Sudha, launched the ‘Ma Ki Roti’ community kitchen, an initiative by Ma Foundation, Mumbai, in Bilaspur to increase the participation of women in the formal workforce. The initiative is supported by Puri Oil
Mills Limited as part of its CSR outreach in Himachal Pradesh, a state in which its brand
has been present for nine long decades.
Ma Ki Roti Initiative
We funded the Lokuttara Leadership Academy, a learning community located in Kerala. This academy is dedicated to providing education to youth from marginalized communities with a particular focus on empowering girls. The academy is a program by Blossom Projects, a non-profit organization that aims to empower Dalit and tribal youth in Kerala through education, building core skills, leadership, and employment.

We distributed school bags to all the students of the school in Tusang village, district Karnal, Haryana as part of its social responsibility and commitment to the welfare of the villages adjoining its micro hydel projects at Mussapur and Khukhani.

Ma Ki Roti Initiative
We organized a Medical Camp with Medanta Medicity across various locations in Srinagar. A joint team of doctors from Medanta Medicity, including specialist doctors in Cardiology, General Physician, and Pain Management were present at the camp to provide their services to the people. Nursing Assistants and Paramedics participated in providing medical assistance to hundreds of people.

In response to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on economically disadvantaged individuals, we extended a helping hand to those in need and their distressed families. As part of their humanitarian efforts, the company distributed ration packets to 500 impoverished families. Each ration packet, weighing 5.1 kg, included P Mark Mustard Oil, Rice, Pulses (Uradh Dal and Chana Dal), Salt, and Turmeric (Haldi).

We distributed winter clothing and stationary to students at Government Middle Schools in Thaska Khader village of district Yamuna Nagar and Tusang village of district Karnal, Haryana as part of its social responsibility and commitment to the welfare of the villages adjoining to its micro hydel projects at Khukhani and Mussapur.

Mission Jumpstart, in collaboration with Edify Sports and the Khiladi Foundation, empowers young female athletes from underserved communities. The program identifies promising talent and provides professional coaching, performance monitoring, and nutrition support to help them grow and succeed.

The PRAGATI Micro-Accelerator Program is an initiative by Puri Oil Mills Ltd., in collaboration with iHub-AWaDH at IIT Ropar, to support early-stage startups driving innovation and sustainability in agriculture. Through this program, we provide mentorship, funding, strategic networking, and access to advanced R&D infrastructure to help startups scale and address key industry challenges.

Through Battle for Blindness, we support the education and overall well-being of visually impaired girls. In collaboration with Mannat Foundation, we also work to enhance the quality of life and learning opportunities for children in a welfare home in Delhi.
