Ingredients for Chickpea Salad

  • Boiled Chickpeas (drained & patted dry): 1 cup

  • P Mark Mustard Oil: 1.5 tsp

  • Red Chilli Powder: ½ tsp

  • Roasted Cumin Powder: ½ tsp

  • Turmeric Powder: ¼ tsp

  • Salt: To taste

  • Chaat Masala (optional): A pinch

  • Cucumber (chopped): ½ cup

  • Tomato (chopped): ½ cup

  • Onion (thinly sliced): ¼ cup

  • Fresh Coriander (chopped): 2 tbsp

  • Lemon Juice: 1 tbsp

Method for Chickpea Salad

  • Toss chickpeas with mustard oil and all the spices till evenly coated.

  • Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F).

  • Air-fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway. Let them cool—they get crispier!

  • Mix the cucumber, tomato, onion, coriander, and lemon juice in a bowl.

  • Add the chickpeas just before serving for that crunch factor.

  • Your chickpea salad is ready! It’s perfect on its own or wrapped in a roti for a crunchy-chunky protein roll.
