Dahi Chole

Ingredients for Dahi Chole

  • P Mark Kachi Ghani Mustard Oil: 2 tbsp

  • Curd (yoghurt): ½ cup

  • Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp

  • Red Chilli Powder: ½ tbsp

  • Coriander Powder: ½ tbsp

  • Garam Masala: 1 tsp

  • Boiled Chole (Chickpeas): 2 cups

  • Heavy Cream (optional): ¼ cup

  • Cumin Seeds (Jeera): 1 tsp

  • Onion: ½ cup, chopped

  • Tomato: ½ cup, chopped

  • Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tsp

  • Salt: According to taste

Method for Dahi Chole

  1. In a bowl, whisk curd with turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder, and garam masala until smooth.

  2. Heat P Mark Kacchi Ghani Mustard Oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and tomatoes.

  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 2 minutes.

  4. Pour in the spiced curd mixture and cook it on low heat, stirring continuously.

  5. Add boiled chole, cream, salt, and water (adjust consistency as needed).

  6. Mash a few chickpeas for a thicker texture.

  7. Cover and cook for 3–5 minutes.

  8. Your Dahi Chole is ready! Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
