Ingredients for Bread Aloo Chaat

  • P Mark Kachi Ghani Mustard oil: 2 tbsp

  • Bread Slices: 6

  • Boiled Potato Cubes: 2 cups

  • Salt: According to taste

  • Khajur Imli ki Chutney: 2 ½ tbsp

  • Green Chutney: 1½ tbsp

  • Chopped Onions: ½ cup

  • Crushed Papdi: ½ cup (coarsely)

  • Sev: ½ cup

  • Chilli Powder: 1 tsp

  • Lemon Juice: ½ tbsp

  • Chopped Coriander: 2 tbsp (finely)

  • Roasted Peanuts: 1 tbsp

  • Grated Coconut: 1 tbsp

Method for Bread Aloo Chaat

  1. Slice each piece of bread into 6 equal portions and set them aside.

  2. In a non-stick pan, heat up the mustard oil. Add the potatoes and salt, and sauté them over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes.

  3. Transfer the sautéed potatoes to a deep bowl. Add khajur imli ki chutney, green chutney, chopped onions, papdi, ¼ cup of sev, chili powder, lemon juice, and chopped coriander. Mix everything thoroughly.

  4. Place all the bread portions on a serving plate, and evenly spread the prepared potato mixture over them.

  5. Garnish with peanuts, coconut, and remaining sev.

  6. Serve immediately to enjoy the crunchiness.
