Chai Pe Charcha… Aur Pakora!

There’s something magical about chai in India. It’s not just a drink—it’s a ritual, a conversation starter, a comfort blanket. And the only thing that makes it better? A plate full of hot, crispy snacks fresh out of mustard oil.

This International Tea Day, we’re celebrating this unbeatable duo with our special series: “Chai Pe Charcha… Aur Pakora!” Here’s our curated chai-snack menu—all made tastier and crispier with P Mark Kachi Ghani Mustard Oil.

International Tea Day

Why Mustard Oil is a Chai Time Hero

Mustard oil brings the zing. Its high smoke point makes it perfect for deep frying, and its sharp, nutty aroma turns basic snacks into flavour bombs. Plus, it’s loaded with omega-3s and vitamin E—so your pakora party isn’t just delicious, it’s wholesome too!

The Mustard-Fried Chai Snack Platter

1. Aloo Bhajiyas

The classic comfort bite. Thin potato slices dunked in spiced besan and deep-fried to crunchy perfection. Best served with green chutney and steamy chai.

2. Beguni

Bengali-style brinjal fritters. Eggplant slices coated in a turmeric-besani batter, fried till golden in mustard oil. Soft inside, crisp outside.

3. Jhal Muri

This Bengali bhel-style puffed rice snack is tossed with raw mustard oil, green chillies, onions, and peanuts for that spicy, earthy punch. No frying, but full-on flavor.

4. Aloo Bonda

Spiced mashed potatoes rolled into balls, dipped in besan batter, and fried until golden brown. When made in mustard oil, the outer layer crisps up like a dream.

5. Paneer Pakoras

Juicy paneer cubes in masala batter, fried till the edges go crackle-crisp. Dunk in chutney, sip your chai, repeat.

6. Samosa

Samosa needs no description since it is the undisputed chai-time king.

Wrapping Up with a Sip and a Crunch

This International Tea Day, let’s ditch the biscuits and pour some love into our snack plates. Fire up the mustard oil, fry up your favourites, and invite the gang over. After all, “chai pe charcha” hits differently with pakoras on the side.
