Every generation of women carries forward the hopes of the one before it — hopes for greater freedom, stronger voices, and a world where opportunities are not limited by expectations.

This Women’s Day, we asked the women on our team a simple question: What do you hope for the next generation of women?

Their answers were thoughtful, honest, and rooted in the belief that the future can be brighter when women are empowered to live on their own terms.

Here is what they shared.

Raising Stronger Generations: Voices from Women of Our Team

What Do You Want for the Next Generation of Women?

For Shreeja, the hope is simple yet powerful. She wishes for a world where women feel free to choose themselves without guilt. Too often, women are taught to prioritise everyone else first — family, expectations, responsibilities — sometimes at the cost of their own dreams. The next generation, she hopes, will grow up knowing that choosing their own happiness and ambitions is not selfish, but necessary.

Anju echoes a similar sentiment, expressing her wish for true freedom of choice. Not choices shaped by pressure or stereotypes, but ones made freely and confidently — whether that means pursuing a career, building a family, travelling the world, or creating a path entirely their own.

For Tejasvini, the future lies in encouraging women to take more risks, particularly in their professional lives. She believes that when women are empowered to step outside their comfort zones, pursue ambitious goals, and challenge traditional limitations, they unlock opportunities that can redefine industries and inspire others.

Meanwhile, Pratibha hopes the next generation grows up with self-belief and independence. Confidence in one's abilities can transform how women navigate the world, helping them speak up, take leadership roles, and pursue the lives they envision for themselves.

One Skill Every Young Woman Should Learn

When asked about the most important skill young women should learn, the responses highlighted the importance of independence and personal growth.

For Anju, that skill is financial independence. The ability to earn and manage one's own money provides security, autonomy, and the freedom to make life decisions confidently.

Tejasvini believes that learning a sport can be incredibly valuable. It doesn’t have to be pursued professionally — but sports build discipline, resilience, and confidence. The lessons learned on a field or court often translate into strength and determination in everyday life.

Manpreet also emphasises financial independence, but goes a step further. She highlights the importance of not just earning money, but also learning how to manage and invest it. Financial literacy empowers women to build stability and long-term security for themselves.

For Pratibha, the foundation of empowerment is education. Knowledge opens doors, broadens perspectives, and gives women the tools they need to create opportunities for themselves and others.

And for Shreeja, the most important skill is to be self-sufficient and financially independent — to have the confidence and capability to stand on one's own feet.

Looking Ahead for Women

Across all these reflections, one message stands out clearly: the future generation of women deserves freedom, confidence, and independence.

A world where women can choose their paths without hesitation, take risks without fear, manage their own finances, pursue education, and believe deeply in their abilities.

Each generation moves the needle a little further forward. And through these hopes, advice, and aspirations, today's women are helping shape a stronger and more empowered tomorrow.

This Women’s Day, we celebrate the voices of the women around us — and the future they are helping create.
